Deadlines! I don't worry about no stinking deadlines! |
On one hand I have this great writing gig. It's just right for me and I'm hoping it will turn into an permanent egg in my writing basket...
One the other... I'm already running behind (my fault) and I really want to be out playing!
Wednesday! It'll all be better on Wednesday when I turn this thing in. (that is until the next Wednesday... if I'm lucky).
Okay, take a deep breath... relax... life goes on, one word after another.
Deadlines looming. Mine is getting ready to move out of state.

And yes, we both have something to look forward too. I can't wait to see the next chapter of your story.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find an email address for you. Just wanted you to know: You’ve just been featured on my weekly Welcome Wagon Friday post. You should be receiving neighbors shortly. Welcome to our little neighborhood!

Hello - I came from Cozy Little House. Nice to meet you, will come back and see what you're up to for sure!
ReplyDeleteI envy you for being able to work from home. That is the best but I am sure those deadlines are always hanging out there too. Love all your red. I am red lover too. I saw you lived in the SoCal mountains. I am down in the San Gabriel Valley.
ReplyDeleteI just found you via Brenda, and couldn't pass up the follow button after reading your posts. We have matching red laptops (I have a lot of red in my life). After reading you "to do list" it was nice to see someone else has an office, exercise, guest room, playroom (studio). I look forward to checking in on you.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm visiting from Brenda's Cozy Little House - she tells us you like red, and I also like (love) red!!! Sorry about the job/glad for the job, right? Stop by to visit me anytime, I'll have the sweet tea ready!

ReplyDeleterenda's welcome wagon. She welcomed me when I first started and I was so excited.
I'll follow along your new blog. COme visit me at http://cozyblanket.blogspot.com/
Hi, just dropping by from Cozy Little House to say "Hi". She mentioned something about a cold drink. I'm a SoCal blogger, too. I envy you getting out the corporate world and back home. I am about three years away and my to do list looks alot like yours. Welcome to blogland!
ReplyDeleteI'm popping by from Brenda's place to say hello. Like you, I enjoy seeing all the white spaces out there, but surround myself with color -- maybe because I live in a desert country. My tv room is filled with red -- in fact, I have a lantern just like the one you showed. I think it is great that you were able to get out of the rat race and follow your passion. I work in admin at the American school my boys attend -- my boss is great and I have the same holidays as the kids so it is definitely the best situation for me. I've done the hour drive to work and back when I lived outside of New Orleans and never, ever want to do that again. Wishing you all the best, Tammy
